Lamination Resin Hardener

Resin for Lamination

MB Enterprises, the leading Epoxy Resin manufacturer in India, producing excellent quality Laminating Resin and also at competitive prices.

MB Enterprises has developed Epoxy Resin for Lamination for the manufacturers of wet layup coatings and also for windsurfing frames, surfing boards, and some other clear top-coating laminate. Just for safety measures, you must use Laminating Resin within six months of purchase.

UV filters in Laminating Resin give the liquid a clear pale violet/blue colour. Even though this substance includes UV filters, it is also advised that you use a UV-screening PU varnish to prevent transparent laminates from yellowing after extended exposure to sunlight.

Our Laminating Resin is a top-quality, fibreglass, carbon fibre and other forms of compound reinforcing resin that is used for lamination. The syrup-like consistency produces fast wet-out and simple reinforcement application.

Laminating Resin by MB Enterprises is a 100% solid translucent epoxy laminating solution for high efficiency and tough visual applications including board production and wood finishing. Epoxy Resin for Lamination is used to stay unpainted with laminates and to demonstrate reinforcements like carbon fibre, natural fibre, inlaid graphics or lovely grains of wood.

Laminating Resin heals to a tough hard finish that is high-gloss polished.

Here are some FAQs to solve your problems regarding Laminating Resin:

  1. Where can be laminating resin used?

ANSWER - Laminating resin is great for wetting out and maintaining fibreglass fabrics during layups. It is ideal for fibreglass layouts and you must hold layers of construction without hardening them to you.

  1. What to choose between epoxy resin or polyester?

ANSWER - Polyester is a good but not as good glue as epoxy is. The tensile strength of the polyester bond is generally about 20% less than that of epoxy. This usually makes epoxy resin the best option to repair fibreglass. Use polyester for gel-coated fixes.

  1. How will fibreglass recover more quickly?

ANSWER - You can operate in a colder space, or heat lamps can be used to allow the resin to heal more quickly. The radiator or heat lamp may also be used. In 24 hours, resin completes 95% of its complete healing and in 72 hours 100% of its cure.
